On may 4-10, 2022, a mini-football championship dedicated to the 99th anniversary of the national leader Heydar Aliyev was held between the Trade Union of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of emergency situations and the central apparatus of the SFPS, departments, groups and parts of Baku and Sumgayit garrisons.
20 teams took part in the championship organized at the sports base of the service.
After the final match, the winners of the mini-football championship were awarded. The award ceremony was attended by the chairman of the Trade Union of MES Mehman Ismayilov and officials of the State Fire Service.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mehman Ismayilov noted that the competition was dedicated to the 99th anniversary of great leader Heydar Aliyev. Ismayilov noted that the foundation of Azerbaijan’s recognition as a sports country in the world was laid with the attention and care of the National Leader for youth and sports.
Today, one of the important components of the purposeful policy pursued by the worthy successor of the Great Leader, President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, is the constant state care for youth and sports. At the end of the speech, Mehman Ismayilov congratulated the winning teams and wished them success.
In the championship, the team of the Fire Protection Department of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) was awarded the 1st place, the team of the Sumgayit City Fire Protection Department was awarded the 2nd place and the team of the Nasimi District Fire Protection Department was awarded the 3rd place.
At the end, the winners were presented with cups, medals, diplomas and valuable gifts from the Trade Union of MES employees.
