On April 22, 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Joint Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture held a meeting with representatives of cooperatives operating in the Sabirabad region. The meeting focused on the recent state support for production cooperatives established in the regions, and discussed issues related to the current state of cooperatives. Representatives of the Birlik Cooperative, which has a total area of 850 hectares, uniting 680 people, and the Akhiskhali Seed Production Cooperative, which covers an area of 730 hectares, uniting 745 people, reported on the collective labor activity of the cooperatives they represent.
At the end of the discussions, the leaders of these cooperatives Shamil Aliyev and Araz Kindiyev were awarded honorary diplomas by the chairman of the Joint Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Fuad Mammadov for their services to the development of cooperatives in the country.
