The Ministry of Agriculture continues a series of measures to increase the number of members of the Joint Trade Union Committee. For this purpose, meetings are held with the heads of enterprises operating in the agricultural sector in the regions, they are informed about the importance of trade unions, their place and role in the enterprise. At the initiative of the staff, meetings are held at enterprises wishing to establish a trade union, and trade union committees are established. Such meetings, held in accordance with the program of organizing workers in the private sector, are yielding results in many districts.

The next meeting was held at the State Agrarian Development Center in Jalilabad region. Rahib Karimov, Director of SADC, briefed the meeting participants on the work done in the agricultural sector in the region and the state support provided to farmers in the country. Chairman of the Joint Trade Union Committee of the   Ministry of Agriculture Fuad Mammadov spoke about the work done by the trade union in recent years. In his speech, he noted that the issue of increasing the number of members is one of the priorities of the organization. He said that trade unions have been established in 15 private enterprises in recent months, and trade unions will be established by employees of 6 companies in the near future. In total, the newly established organizations cover 1,730 people.
