A tree planting campaign was held in Zangilan district

On April 12, 2022, with the support of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Karabakh Revival Foundation, a tree-planting campaign was held in the liberated Zangilan region in accordance with the total number of mothers of our martyrs and female employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Chairman of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Mehman Ismayilov, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Karabakh Revival Foundation, as well as the mothers of 44 martyrs took part in the tree-planting campaign dedicated to International Women’s Day.

The protesters first visited the grave of the martyr at the entrance to Zangilan district and laid flowers on it. The memory of the martyrs was honored.

Then an event was held with the participation of protesters. Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Mehman Ismayilov said that thanks to the great victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, our lands occupied by Armenia for about 30 years were liberated from the enemy and our territorial integrity was restored. President, Muzaffar Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev duly repulsed international pressure, skillfully led the military-strategic operations of our glorious Army in the Patriotic War against Armenian fascism, made unprecedented historical achievements in diplomacy, information and political activities, and restored historical justice.

Continuing his speech, M.Ismayilov stressed that the memory of our martyrs, who showed unparalleled heroism for the freedom of our lands, will always be honored, noting that our martyrs are our symbol of freedom, independence, invincibility and heroism. With the heroism and struggle of our heroes, 30 years of longing have come to an end, and a great return to Karabakh has begun. The tricolor sacred Azerbaijani flag is flying everywhere in Karabakh, including Zangilan. One of the main goals of today’s tree-planting campaign is to contribute to the perpetuation of the memory of our martyrs.

The planting process was launched by the Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations after the donation certificates and valuable gifts were presented to the mothers of the martyrs participating in the event. Initially, 300 tree seedlings were buried with the participation of the mothers of martyrs, representatives of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Karabakh Revival Foundation.

It should be reminded that the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the Patriotic War within the project to establish a forest in Zangilan on behalf of the mothers of martyrs in order to eliminate the damage to the environment in the liberated territories and to restore the ecological balance in order to perpetuate the memory of the martyrs of the Second Karabakh War AZN 55,000 was donated to the Karabakh Revival Fund in connection with the planting of trees in accordance with the total number of mothers and female employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
