A report-plenum of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was held

On February 21, 2022, the report-plenum of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan dedicated to the results of 2021 was held.

The annual report meeting was attended by the chairman of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehman Ismayilov, chairmen of trade union committees operating in regional centers and agencies of the Ministry.

Chairman of the Trade Union of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Mehman Ismayilov made a report on the work done in 2021 at the plenum.

Noting that many events were organized by the Union during the last year on national holidays, significant days and professional holidays of our republic, Chairman M.Ismayilov spoke about the meetings held in the sections of the State Fire Protection Service operating in our liberated territories in order to evaluate the activities of the firefighters, who are subordinate to the MES, including during the Patriotic War, who perform their service duties worthily, he said holiday gifts and keepsakes were presented.

In addition, it was noted that the family of Rashad Vagif Shafiyev, an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who was killed in the line of duty by Armenian armed forces during the Patriotic War, was kept in mind. From September 2020, the Union continued to provide financial assistance in the amount of AZN 300 per month to each of its two foster children, assigned to it by the Union.

In addition, it was noted that the family of Rashad Vagif Shafiyev, an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who was killed in the line of duty by Armenian armed forces during the Patriotic War, was kept in mind. M.Ismayilov noted that in the summer of 2021, the relevant employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were awarded honorary diplomas by the Union for their excellence in extinguishing forest fires in the Republic of Turkey and performing the necessary search and rescue operations in the disaster zone.

With the support of the Union “Open Doors” days for children of martyrs and veterans were held at the Academy of the MES, Karabakh and Ganja regional centers, and gifts and honorary diplomas were presented to children of martyrs and veterans.

In order to protect the health of its members, increase the professionalism of its employees and intensify inter-unit relations, the Ministry of Emergency Situations together with the State Fire Protection Service held competitions for the Republican Championship on Fire-Rescue sport, for the title of “best manga” and for the title of “best manga by giving foam”. In addition, employees of the Ministry were provided with vouchers to various sanatoriums and recreation centers for treatment and recreation. At the same time, in connection with the death of a low-income, deceased or family member, financial assistance was paid to 555 union members for the treatment of his or her family member’s illness.

Experienced employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who will reach their jubilee in 2021, were also awarded honorary diplomas and valuable gifts by the trade union.

At the end of his speech, Mehman Ismayilov noted that the Ministry of Emergency Situations will continue to work hard to solve all the tasks facing the trade union, and will always assist in ensuring the labor and social rights of its members.

After hearing the report, other current issues of the Union and the action plan for 2022 were discussed, and the proposals of the committee chairmen were heard.
