A mini-football tournament dedicated to the 99th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev will be organized by the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Public Administration and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan in April this year.
A meeting of the Republican Committee was held on March 3 to prepare for the tournament.
The meeting was attended by the chairman of the Republican Committee Hikmet Osmanov, chairman of the Public Union “Sports Organizations of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan” Nadir Aliyev, representatives of the teams participating in the tournament and other officials.
Explanations on tournament terms, rules and other issues were given at the meeting.
Then the draw ceremony was held among 21 teams to participate in the tournament and 4 groups were determined.
