On February 1 and 2, a table tennis tournament dedicated to Youth Day was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation and the Joint Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture.
46 employees of the Central Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and subordinate bodies of the Ministry divided into 8 semi-groups competed for the first place in the tournament. 16 people competed in the final stage, which took place today.
The games, which took place in the Great Hall of the Table Tennis Federation, were judged by international referees.
Chairman of the Joint Trade Union Committee of the Ministry of Agriculture Fuad Mammadov won all his rivals and took first place. Eston Zeynalov, an employee of Agrarian Supply and Supply OJSC, was awarded the second place, and Rashad Damirov, an employee of the Gobustan State Agrarian Development Center, was awarded the third place.
The winners of the first three places in the championship in the nomination of the best female participant were awarded honorary diplomas, cash prizes and gifts. The Azerbaijani Table Tennis Federation also presented special prizes to the winners.
