On January 14, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation (ATUC), MP SattarMohbaliyev met with MahmutArslan, Chairman of the Hak-Is Confederation and EdaGuner, Secretary General of the organization.
The fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as the relations between the two organisations, the work done to further strengthen cooperation and future prospects were discussed at the meeting.
The chairman of ATUC noted that the relations between our countries are based on fraternal principles on solid foundations in all areas. The sayings of the founder of the Republic of Turkey Mustafa Kemal Ataturk “the joy of Azerbaijan is our joy and grief is our sorrow” and the words of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people HeydarAliyev “One Nation, two states” are the guarantors of unity of our peoples in the context of national and moral values.
According to him, today, thanks to the purposeful policy pursued by President of Azerbaijan IlhamAliyev and President of Turkey RecepTayyip Erdogan, relations between our countries are reaching a higher level, and in a number of areas are moving to a qualitatively new level.
Calling the Shusha Declaration a historic event, Mohbaliyev noted that the Declaration ensures the sustainable development of relations between the two countries at all levels, including political, economic, ideological and humanitarian spheres, while increasing the geostrategic importance of the alliance.
The ATUC chairman thanked his Turkish counterpart for the $ 25,000 transferred by the Hak-Ish Confederation to the families of martyrs and veterans, as well as to the ATUC for the reconstruction of East Zangazur and Karabakh.
Thanking for the warm reception, Chairman of the Hak-Ish Confederation MahmutArslan called Azerbaijan’s victory in the Great Patriotic War a historic event and congratulated his Azerbaijani colleagues on this occasion. According to him, Azerbaijan fought for justice and showed its strength to the whole world.
Other issues of interest were also discussed at the meeting. At the end, mutual gifts were presented and a photo was taken.
