Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, MP Sattar Mohbaliyev presented honorary diplomas, badges and certificates to the winners of the “Professional Youth of the Year” competition held by the ATUC. During the meeting with the winners, the ATUC chairman congratulated them on this achievement. Speaking about the role of education in the development of young people who are the future of Azerbaijan as worthy citizens, the chairman noted that the development of education in Azerbaijan is one of the priorities. The work of educators is regularly evaluated by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. They are given various honorary titles, and steps are being taken to improve their social conditions. Recalling the celebration of Victory Day a few days ago, Mohbaliyev said that hundreds of educators took part in the 44-day victory war in Azerbaijan, took up arms and were awarded various orders and medals. 20 educators sacrificed their lives and rose to the peak of martyrdom: “This shows that our educators work hard to bring up our children in the spirit of national patriotism, and, if necessary, take up arms and join the life-and-death struggle for the freedom of our lands. We are all proud of such Azerbaijani sons”.
Speaking about the responsibility and difficulties of the educational process in a pandemic, S. Mohbaliyev noted that our educators are successfully coping with this difficulty.
Then the ATUC chairman congratulated the winners of the competition, wished them success in their future activities, presented them with Honorary Diplomas, Badges and Certificates.
