“The visit of Head of State Ilham Aliyev to Brussels is another success and a diplomatic victory for Azerbaijan. Once again, the new prospects brought by Azerbaijan to the region, the realities designed for peace and stability, broad cooperation, and a position based on national interests in this direction were unequivocally supported. This is clearly seen in the statement of the President of the Council of the European Union Charles  Michel following a trilateral meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinian. The statement emphasizes that such challenges as the signing of a peace treaty, the issue of demarcation and delimitation of borders, the fulfillment of obligations arising from meetings and statements on November 10, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, directly coincide with the interests of Azerbaijan and are the realities of the post-Soviet period.”

This opinion was expressed by the chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, deputy of the Milli Majlis Sattar M
ohbaliyev.

“In addition, the appearance on the agenda of such issues as the development of economic cooperation in the region, the creation of joint cooperation platforms and, most importantly, the restoration of communications, including the laying of a railway line, once again shows that the “return path” declared by Armenia is impossible. The scale of the results of the struggle for the right of Azerbaijan to put an end to the occupation based on justice is global in nature and is of great importance for the restoration of the violated principles of international law,” the deputy of the Milli Majlis said.

According to him, the whole world, including Western countries and their united organizations, already understands that all the goals of Azerbaijan are designed for peace and stability. The countries of the region have also suffered from the consequences of the occupation for a long time, and this outrage has caused great damage to practical cooperation and economic ties for Armenia. Today, sustainable peace and stability in the region consists in opening communications, establishing an active dialogue, and the ability to be neighbors. For this, work on a peace agreement must be carried out, hostility must be stopped, Armenia’s awareness of the importance of new realities, and then it will be able to get out of the swamp into which it has fallen.”

“The meetings of President Ilham Aliyev with President of the Council of the European Union Charles  Michel and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the opinions voiced, the statements made showed Azerbaijan’s geopolitical and geo-economic advantage over Armenia. Both organizations expressed interest in cooperation with Azerbaijan and once again confirmed that our country is a reliable partner”” S. Mokhbaliyev said, stressing that all this is a triumph of a balanced, meeting the national interests of the country in all spheres of successful foreign policy pursued by the Head of our state, Mr. Ilham Aliyev: “Azerbaijan is already a comprehensively developed state-the leader of the region. All states, international and regional organizations, regardless of their purpose and direction of activity, are interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan. In general, the Brussels meetings are another confirmation of Azerbaijan’s correct victories on all fronts and platforms””
