Chairman of the Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Mehman Ismayilov visited the family of Rashad Vagif Shafiyev, an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, who was killed in a rocket attack by Armenian forces in Barda on November 8 – Victory Day.
Congratulating the martyr’s family on Victory Day, Mehman Ismayilov called the liberation of our lands, which had been under enemy occupation for almost 30 days, by our brave Army under the wise leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, the Victory Page of our glorious history. He also said that the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations showed determination during the war, showed courage in fire protection and rescue operations of settlements fired by the enemy with heavy artillery and missiles. He noted that Rashad Shafiyev, who started his active service in the Civil Defense Troops of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on July 4, 2019, was able to gain the respect of the staff in a short time as a businesslike, responsible and patriotic serviceman.
After the photo was taken, the holiday gifts brought by the Trade Union of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on the occasion of Victory Day were presented to the martyr’s family.
It should be noted that Shafiyev Rashad Vagif oglu, an active-duty serviceman of the Civil Defense Troops of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, was killed in the line of duty as a result of missile strikes on October 28, 2020 in Barda, targeting civilians. A girl and a boy of the martyr buried in his hometown of Ganja are remembered.
