On December 10, 2021, the VI Plenum of the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of State Administration and Public Service Workers of Azerbaijan was held.The online Plenum was attended by a total of 68 people, including 51 members of the Republican Committee and chairmen and activists of non-Plenum trade unions.
The Plenum was chaired by the Chairman of the Republican Committee H.S.Osmanov.
Chairman of the Republican Committee Mr. H.S.Osmanov made a detailed report on the activities of the Republican Committee in 2021 and noted that during the severe pandemic during the past period, the Republican Committee and member organizations did a lot of work, our members were assisted in pandemic conditions, food parcels were delivered. In addition, he noted that the attention and care given to the participants of the Great Patriotic War and the families of martyrs, as well as the assistance provided will continue. The chairman noted that in accordance with the decisions of the ATUC, 96 children of martyrs were taken care of by the Republican Committee and 17 by our member organizations, and some members of the families of martyrs were provided with jobs in trade unions. H.Osmanov noted that attention to the families of martyrs is the main task of trade unions.
G.Babayev, Chairman of Saki City Executive Committee, E.Guliyev, Chairman of the State Statistics Committee, N.Eminli, Chairman of Zagatala District Executive Committee, S.Gulmammadov, Chairman of Ganja City Executive Committee, Chairman of Ganja City Executive Committee U.Valiyeva and R.Hajiyev, the chairman of the Prosecutor General’s Office, expressed their satisfaction with the issues mentioned in the report of the chairman of the Republican Committee and the decisions taken.The decision of the Executive Committee of the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation (ATUC) dated October 13, 17b, 1 “On reporting and election meetings in ATUC member organizations” was brought to the attention of the Plenum participants, the decision was discussed and Taking into account the rules, it was decided to postpone the reporting and election meetings until 2024 in the city, district, joint and the first trade union organizations directly included in the service area of the Republican Committee.
The plenum also elected new members to the Republican Committee.
Immediately after the plenum, a meeting of the Presidium was held to discuss the issues on the agenda.
