A seminar-meeting of the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Educators of Azerbaijan was held on 2 February in connection with the Youth Day and the “School of Young Trade Union Leaders – a comprehensive program for young workers.”
Speaking at the seminar, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Committee Mirza Jafarzadeh spoke about the attention and care for young people in the country, noting that the strengthening of statehood depends on the training of young people, their intellectual and creative force, leading members of society.
He said that the role of trade unions in the development of youth is great. Today, our youth is distinguished by active activity in all spheres of public life, plays an important role in the implementation of political, economic and social measures. Today, the state youth policy founded by Heydar Aliyev is successfully pursued by President Ilham Aliyev.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Youth Council Bayram Aslanov stressed that young people have great creative power and as a result of their proper guidance, a worthy contribution to the future of the state and society.
Sabuhi Imanov, an employee of the International Relations Department of the Republican Committee, made a presentation on “A comprehensive program for young workers of the Young Trade Union Leader School.” He said in his presentation that the main purpose of the program is to increase the motivation of trade union membership, to revive the work of young people in trade union organizations, to identify talented young people and to protect their interests.
