Today, 27 September is celebrated as a day of Remembrance in the Republic of Azerbaijan.The order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. President Ilham Aliyev, on this issue is a sign of the highest respect for the souls of martyrs and relatives of martyrs.We pay tribute to our soldiers and officers, all our martyrs, who fought valiantly in the Great Patriotic War, proudly waved the invincible flag of Azerbaijan in our lands liberated from Armenian occupation, gave their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country.Their heroism for our Motherland will never be forgotten and their memory will always live in the hearts of our people.
We ask for mercy from the Almighty Creator to all our martyrs, and offer our deepest condolences to their parents, families and relatives.
