“Every step of the Azerbaijani Army under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, who won the war, was a heroic saga.
Other heroes of the Patriotic War are their parents, who without hesitation proudly said goodbye to their children for the Motherland. The whole world witnessed it. Welcoming the coffin of the children of the martyred fathers and mothers with the slogan “Long live the Motherland” was a worthy continuation of our historical memory, and they did it with honor. They sacrificed the weight and grief of the loss of a child, which is the greatest pain for a human being, for the love of the Motherland. This is the wisdom and honor of our people.
This opinion was expressed by the chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation (ATUC), MP Sattar Mohbaliyev.
ATUC chairman said that another example of Armenian savagery is Jabrayil region: “During the occupation, like all other territories, everything necessary for the survival of living beings was destroyed in that area, and enemies of all nature and wildlife were killed. Today’s processes reveal who is who. During the last visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Jabrayil, the President got acquainted with the construction work carried out there and the projects implemented there. Doing so much in just one year shows the economic strength of our state and the potential of our country. The Araz Valley Economic Zone, which will cover an area of 200 hectares, will give new impetus to the economy of the Industrial Park region and the country as a whole, increase employment, stimulate agricultural development and increase local production. The work done once again shows that all the work is being carried out in accordance with the plan for the comfort of the residents who will return there, and their happy future will soon be realized. We saw it in the example of Jojug Marjanli. ”
The MP noted that the foundation of the “Great Return” was laid in Jabrayil: “After the fighting in April 2016, the heights around the village of Jojug Marjanli were liberated. As a result of rapid construction work, a school building, a kindergarten, a doctor’s office and other necessary social and infrastructure facilities were built in the village, and life was restored there. Today, the village attracts attention with its grandeur. This shows that we will face such a situation in all our liberated territories and will proudly witness the next stage of the “Great Return”.
The ATUC chairman stressed that on October 4 this year, at a meeting with representatives of the Jabrayil community, President Ilham Aliyev reiterated the consequences of possible provocations by Armenia: “Therefore, Armenia must come to its senses, heed the warnings, assess the new situation and accept Azerbaijan’s proposals. The policy of occupation has already been buried, and Azerbaijan’s unchanging position is clear. The new breath that Azerbaijan has brought to the region, as I said in previous interviews, is aimed at lasting peace and comprehensive development of the region in general. Armenia’s withdrawal does not bode well for them. The policy of occupation has excluded them from all projects. Oil and gas pipelines, transport lines, railways – all bypassed Armenia. Today, they are experiencing its bitter consequences”.
