The “Khidmet-Ish” Trade Union Federation has organized awareness-raising seminars on “Social Dialogue” through the Street Net International Alliance.
The seminars were held in Baku, as well as in Shamkir and Gabala districts. The topics of the seminars were ways to protect the labor and social rights of street traders and market vendors through social dialogue.
The event was attended by members of trade unions, representatives of the State Labor Inspectorate, the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the “Azerbaijan Women Entrepreneurs” Public Union.
Speaking at the event, Jamaladdin Ismayilov, Vice President of “Khidmet-Ish”, Secretary of the Street Net International Alliance, spoke about the role of trade unions in society, protection of labor and social rights, the importance of social dialogue and other issues.
