Chairwoman of the Independent Trade Union of Cultural Workers
Sattarova Jamilia Mammadaga was born in 1946 he graduated from Azerbaijan State Conservatoire Uzeir Hadzhibekov in 1970
She started to work in 1969 as a teacher in music school № 6, in 1975 deputy director of the training school, and in 1980 she became the director of this school.
In 1985 she was appointed Deputy of the Independent Trade Union of Cultural Workers. In 2000 she was elected chairwoman of the Independent Trade Union of Cultural Workers.
She is a member of the Executive Committee of ATUC and “Assembly” and as well as a member of the Board of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Vice-President of the International Confederation of Trade Unions and also Chairwoman of the Center "Gender Equality and Women's" Trade Union Confederation of Azerbaijan.
Member of the Advisory Board of Independent States, the Trade Union of Cultural Workers.
Member of the Commission on Women, of the World Confederation of Trade Unions.
Member of the Executive Committee "EPSU" (European Federation of Public Service Unions).
In 2005 she was awarded the title of "Honored Worker of Culture".
According to the order of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic dated 21.10.2015 Jamila Mammadagha gizi Sattarova was awarded with the “Taraggi” medal.
